About us
After learning of our mother's diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease, we were confronted with a heartbreaking and deeply unsettling reality. It is incredibly difficult to receive such news about someone you love so dearly. Our mother did everything she could for her two daughters, so it was only natural that we would be there for her now that the roles were reversed.
Our mother devoted much of her life to helping others, working with the elderly, and supporting people at the end of their lives. She remained a loving and caring person, always drawn to those in need. It was her unwavering compassion that inspired us to create our small, family-oriented business, as a way of honouring her dedication to helping and supporting others.
In our desire to help her maintain her cognitive abilities, we were inspired to create our own games and activities tailored to her needs. We were delighted to see not only her positive response to the different activities we presented to her, but also the benefits these activities brought to other residents who participated with her. This journey is deeply meaningful to us, and we are committed to continuing our efforts to support her and others in similar situations.
It’s in this spirit that our business is founded on our experiential knowledge, as we were directly confronted with those feelings of discomfort and inadequacy when interacting with our mother.
Our Mission is to provide activities that create meaningful and enjoyable moments with loved ones through play. The goal is to make it easier to access the right tools. The games offered act as a medium for creating joyful moments, with easy and accessible tools for caregivers navigating this new stage of their journey—a journey often filled with unknowns and uncertainties.
Our entire approach and our thinking are based on the human values of mutual support, sharing, and kindness.
